In Caravela School, we are as flexible as possible. Therefore, we offer courses for different levels, class frequencies, schedules and goals. The general courses prepare students for the CAPLE exams of the respective level.
Group Lessons
Intensive Course
The Intensive Course is a 40-hour course and lasts 2/3 weeks. It is divided into 10 classes of 4 hours, with a 15-minute break. Classes take place from Monday to Friday from 9.30 to 13.30. Each group has a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 students.
Price: 320 euros / student
extensive course
The Extensive Course is a 40 hour course and lasts about 2 months. It is divided into 16 lessons of 2,5 hours, with a 15-minute break. Classes take place on Mondays and Wednesdays or on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in the afternoon (from 14.00 to 16.30) or in the evening (from 18.30 to 21.00). Each group has a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 students.

Online Course
The Online Course follows the same principles of the face-to-face courses, with the difference that the classes are given at distance.
Students can choose from Intensive ou Extensive format.

Portuguese for tourism
It is designed for students spending, or planning to spend, their holidays in Portugal and who want to be ready for the different situations that may arise during their stay. It aims to facilitate the process of discovering the country and make this a richer experience.
Business Portuguese
It focuses on professional and business issues. It prepares professionals, entrepreneurs and business owners.
Preparation for the CAPLE exams
Our general courses are designed so that the students, at the end of the course, are able to take the CAPLE exam of their respective level. For this, our exams follow the format and type of content of CAPLE exams.
However, we also have specific courses for preparation for CAPLE exams. They are intended for students who already have some knowledge of the language and who want to prepare for the demands of these examinations.

How to get to the the school?
Reaching Caravela school in Matosinhos is quite simple even for those who come from the center of Porto.
METRO:
Those coming from the city center can take the metro at Trindade station (or any other station). You should take the metro towards “Senhor de Matosinhos” and get off at “Matosinhos Sul” (Matosinhos) station.
The School is 100 meters from the station next to Banco Santander.
